Taylor Pleasant earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Child and Family Development from Texas Southern University. She is currently working on obtaining her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lamar University. After graduation, she will continue to pursue LMFT licensure. She is most excited to help couples, teens and individuals reach their personal and or family goals. Taylor also looks forward to bringing awareness and reducing the stigma of counseling in the African American community.

Taylor is originally from Los Angeles, California and grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. She enjoys taking care of her dog Prince, reading, cooking, and has the guilty pleasure of enjoying reality TV. She looks forward to serving the community and gaining experience in the field of counseling at Family Restoration Counseling.
