James has over 10 years experience providing professional care and counseling services. He earned his master’s degree in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has worked with families from a variety of cultures and backgrounds, having spent 7 years in ministry care roles. James is wholehearted about helping couples, adults, young adults, adolescents, and children (+7) to bring about the change they want to see in their lives. He treats individuals struggling with anxiety & depression, grief & loss, trauma, sexual issues, self worth issues, behavioral development, neurodiversity, relationships and boundaries, life transitions, and spiritual issues. He also has specialties and interests that include couples in conflict, couples healing from trauma and infidelity, communication problems in couples, and coping with diagnoses of a partner. James is also pleased to provide young adult and couple consults on the topics of sexual issues and marital sexual intimacy through psycho education.

Vanessa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas as well as a Master of Science in Counseling at Texas A&M Commerce. She is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern and an LPC- Associate currently supervised by Sandy Gaylord, LPC-S. She has worked in a variety of settings including behavioral health in the community, the juvenile justice department, and in the educational setting with at- risk youth. She works with adults and children/ adolescents dealing with boundary issues, depression, addiction, anxiety, burn out and grief and loss. Vanessa is also bilingual and is comfortable counseling clients in Spanish. Her unique life experiences provide Vanessa with the compassion and understanding that greatly benefit her clients.
Vanessa uses a variety of treatment modalities including mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, play therapy, art therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Daniel graduated from Chiayi University with a Bachelor’s in Education with a concentration in Guidance and Counseling. After three years of teaching elementary, Daniel is working on his Master of Arts in Licensed Professional Counseling at Oral Roberts University. He is currently under the supervision of Evie Gardner LPC-S. Daniel desires to pursue LPC and LMFT licensure and work with families and couples post-graduation. He specializes in pre-marital counseling, boundaries, depression/anxiety, and communication issues. Daniel’s many talents and hobbies include being bilingual, speaking both English and Mandarin, playing basketball, and cooking. You might also find Daniel attending church, where he and his wife serve on the worship team. At home, they both enjoy spending time with their daughter, making family memories together.

Ranesa earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology at LeTourneau University. Her experience includes working alongside hospital, law enforcement, and school personnel for emergent and urgent crisis evaluations, working in the community mental health setting, and teaching English at the middle school level. Ranesa is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) at LeTourneau University, and is under the supervision of Eve Gardner LPC-S. After graduation, Ranesa plans on continuing to pursue her license as an LPC to work with adolescents, families, and adults who struggle with mental health challenges, self-worth, oppression, behavioral difficulties, and spirituality issues.
Ranesa grew up in Texas and loves spending time with her husband, children, and two fur-babies. Ranesa also enjoys reading psychological thriller and suspense novels, singing, cooking, and hiking.

Melissa graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies and received her Master of Education in Counseling from Texas A&M Commerce in 2007. She has been in education for 21 years and her experience includes teaching Personal and Family Development Classes, serving as a Parent Educator, teaching Special Education and School Counseling. She is an LPC associate currently under the supervision of Jennifer Smothermon, LPC-S, LMFT -S, RPT -S.
Melissa has a passion for helping children, adolescents, young adults and their families through situations of trauma, school issues, grief/loss, behavioral problems, anxiety and depression. Her background and experience have strongly equipped her with a variety of techniques to help meet the needs of children with ADD, ADHD, and Autism as well. She plans to pursue her RPT licensure along with her LPC.
Melissa has been married to her husband for 19 years and has 3 children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling anywhere there is sun and water.

Brandi earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology as well as a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, behavioral health and the adoption/foster care industry. Brandi is passionate about serving adult individuals as well as children/adolescents and their families. Specialties include Christian counseling, children and adolescents, trauma recovery, grief/loss, school issues, behavioral problems, attachment concerns, depression, anxiety, and women’s issues.
Brandi uses a variety of treatment modalities including play therapy and expressive arts with children. Brandi is currently training in Synergetic Play Therapy as an approach to help kids, teens and parents navigate life’s challenges. Synergetic Play Therapy is a researched-informed model of play therapy blending the therapeutic power of play with nervous system regulation, interpersonal neurobiology, physics, attachment, mindfulness, and therapist authenticity.

La Tricia Cleveland earned her Bachelor of Art and Performance from the University of Texas at Dallas, and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Capella University. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist – Associate, currently under the supervision of Jennifer Smothermon, MS, LMFT-A, LPC-S, RPT/S. La Tricia enjoys helping couples, families, children, and individuals increase self-awareness, gain new perceptions, decrease symptoms, and enlarge their individual strengths to have a more meaningful life experience.
La Tricia has experience working with couples, families, individuals, and adolescence.
She enjoys being a member of, Delta Kappa, Chi Sigma Iota (CSI), and The National Society of Leadership and Success. La Tricia is a proud pet mom to Shih Tzu, Moo Moo and is a lover of the arts. In her spare time, she continues to enjoy acting in theatre as well as independent films.

Marisela graduated from Southern Methodist University with a major in Spanish and Elementary Education. After a career in teaching at the elementary and middle school levels, Marisela stayed home to bring up her three children and is now excited to begin a new career as a counselor. She is working on her Masters in Biblical Counseling (MABC) at Dallas Theological Seminary and is under the supervision of Evie Gardner LPC-S. Upon graduation, Marisela desires to work with individuals and families dealing with the effects of substance abuse.
Marisela is certified in Relate Strong, a conflict-resolution tool used in marital and relational restoration. She specializes in parenting issues, boundaries, codependency, depression/anxiety, addiction, ADHD, communication issues and enjoys working with individuals, children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families. Marisela is a member of the Christian Association for Psychological Studies (CAPS). In her free time, she enjoys adventures with her husband and kids, jogging, and singing/songwriting.
