Lance earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master of Arts in Family Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University. He has worked in the mental health field since 1997 and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2000.

Lance works with individuals, couples, and families, providing compassionate and practical support tailored to each client’s needs. His specialties and professional interests include marital and premarital counseling, divorce recovery, blended family dynamics, sexual addictions, and trauma recovery.

Lance works with individuals and couples facing the impact of sexual addiction, betrayal, and broken trust. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) with advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and additional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), he helps clients move beyond shame and reactive cycles toward emotional safety, accountability, and secure connection. Lance also works with individuals impacted by compulsive or otherwise problematic behaviors and trauma.  

In addition to his clinical work, Lance is a Board-Approved Supervisor in the state of Texas and provides supervision for LPC Associates. In 2009, he and his wife, Evie, founded Family Restoration Counseling Services. They have been married since 1997 and have three children.
