Madelyn Cotter earned her Masters in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and practices as an LPC-Associate. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Texas A&M University, providing a strong foundation in understanding relational dynamics, emotional processing, and patterns of human behavior. She is a member of the Texas Counseling Association. Madelyn works with individuals and couples as they navigate life’s challenges, particularly those shaped by traumatic experiences, relational wounds, and seasons of transition. She is especially passionate about supporting adolescents, young adults, and couples, offering a compassionate approach that prioritizes safety, trust, and meaningful growth.

Madelyn has a particular passion for working with clients who have experienced trauma and is currently pursuing specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to further support clients in processing and healing from difficult life experiences. She views counseling as a calling and believes that genuine change and freedom are possible when people are met with empathy and hope.

In her free time, Madelyn loves cooking, reading, and, having grown up in the Piney Woods of East Texas, soaking up all the time she can outdoors. She and her husband love to travel, try new recipes, and spend time with their dog, Maverick.
